Sales Executive - Industrial

Sales Executive, General Industrial and Liquid Logistics
Altera Recruitment Group is working with a specialist clean technology business supporting industrial and logistics customers with safer, more sustainable cleaning solutions.
This is a commercial role focused on developing new business across liquid logistics, fleet operations, industrial manufacturing and engineering environments. The position will suit someone who understands technical sales into operational settings, where process, safety, performance and return on investment are key parts of the conversation.
The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle, build relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders, and help grow a developing market segment.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Executive
* Build and manage a sales pipeline across liquid logistics, fleet and industrial accounts.
* Develop new customer relationships with operational, technical, procurement and HSE stakeholders.
* Lead technical sales conversations around cleaning performance, process improvement and sustainability.
* Support product demonstrations, customer trials and commercial proposals.
* Share market insight to support continued growth across target sectors.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven sales experience within chemicals, industrial services, liquid logistics, fleet operations or process manufacturing.
* Comfortable selling technical products or services into operational environments.
* Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
* Confident managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
* Able to travel regularly across the UK, with some international travel where required.
What’s on Offer
* £55,000 basic salary.
* 35% OTE commission.
