Sales Executive - Media

Our client, a leading business in the Media industry is seeking a driven, personable and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to an exciting period of growth our client is looking to add a Sales Executive to their team, where they are seeking someone with sales experience in any industry, although Media sales is advantageous, to focus on developing new business relationships with senior decision-makers, pitching and closing new business in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ Sales experience in any field, and will be a driven individual looking to capitalize on an uncapped commission scheme.

It is expected in this role for on target earnings to exceed roughly 3x basic salary and above if targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for selling advertising, branded content and advertorials across both print and digital platforms

* Make outbound calls to new and existing clients, introducing services and upselling products

* Develop sales proposals and presentations

* Analyse competitors in the market to ensure pricing and offering is competitive

* Ensure a highlevel of professionalism, communication and customer service is maintained at all times

* Continuously research potential clients to ensure you’re targeting the right market

Key Experience:

* Previous sales experience is key, either within Media or other industries, all sector experience will be considered

* A keen, enthusiastic and professional sales person keen to meet and exceed targets in an uncapped commission environment

* Able to work independently, confident researching new clients and creating pitches and proposals

* Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and via email

* A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

* Ability to learn and understand a new field and market
