£35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus/Commission + Company Car

West Midlands (Commutable from: Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Dudley, Walsall, Solihull, West Bromwich, Worcester, Telford, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, and Redditch)
Are you a technically minded professional from the coatings, paints or industrial finishes industry looking to make the move into sales?
On offer is a home-based, field sales position covering the West Midlands territory, where you will develop your own customer base, with the backing of a leading manufacturer known for innovative decorative and protective finishes, including water-based, environmentally friendly coatings.
In this role, you will develop new business and grow existing accounts across the wood coatings market, working closely with spray shops, manufacturers and other industry customers.
You will also provide technical product advice and customer support around coatings application processes, using your existing knowledge to help customers find the right solutions while developing your commercial and sales skills.
This role would suit someone with a strong technical background in coatings, paints or spray shop operations who is looking to transition into a field-based sales role.
The Role:

Home-based field sales role covering the Bristol territory
New business development and account management within wood coatings/finishes
Building relationships with spray shops, manufacturers and industry customers
Monday-Friday working week (early finish on Fridays)
The Person:

Technical experience within wood coatings, paints, industrial finishes or a spray shop environment
Understanding of coatings products, spray shop operations and application processes
Looking to transition from a technical or application-based role into sales
Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, organised and commercially minded, with a desire to learn and develop in a sales-focused role
