Sales Ledger

Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Leeds who are recruiting a Sales Ledger to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and be able to work within a fast-paced working environment. This is a full-time position offering hybrid working.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Posting and allocating daily cash receipts accurately
• Managing credit control and proactively chasing outstanding debts for both internal and external accounts
• Handling invoice-related queries and resolving discrepancies efficiently
• Generating manual invoices when automated systems are unavailable
• Reviewing and posting invoices to ledgers daily using automated finance software
• Processing timely bank reconciliations
• Collecting customer payments over the phone
• Collaborating with technicians to resolve account or billing issues
• Supporting the Finance Manager and Assistant Management Accountant with month-end close activities
• Preparing weekly Technician Revenue reports and ad hoc reports as requested by management
• Compiling Franchisee Revenue reports for major accounts on a weekly basis and as needed

You will need to demonstrate:

• Experience of working within a busy Accounts/Office environment
• Good organisational skills and ability to multitask
• Prior experience in a Sales Ledger role
• Able to cover other roles within the wider finance team as required to maintain operational flexibility
• IT literate - able to produce/maintain Excel spreadsheets
• Sage 200 experience desirable
