Reed Business Support are working with a well-established publishing company based in Rochester, and we’re on the hunt for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales function. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong B2B sales experience (bonus points if it’s in media or publishing) who can take ownership of commercial strategy, develop new business, and coach a small team to success.

Sales Manager What you’ll be doing:
• Developing and executing a sales strategy to increase advertising and publication revenue
• Building and managing a pipeline of new business opportunities, while nurturing existing client relationships
• Leading, mentoring and motivating a small sales team to hit individual and team targets
• Collaborating with editorial and marketing teams to align sales campaigns with upcoming publications and events
• Reporting on KPIs, forecasting revenue, and constantly identifying ways to maximise growth

Sales Manager What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience in a sales-driven role - you must be comfortable pushing for deals and closing them
• Strong B2B sales skills with a consultative approach
• Previous experience in publishing, media or advertising sales would be a huge plus
• A confident communicator, both in person and in writing, with the ability to influence at all levels
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
