Sales Manager

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager living in East Anglia who has sold to Engineering Managers or Project Managers in the food manufacturing and processing industry. You will be working for a well-established manufacturer of turnkey engineering factory refurbishment solutions.

BASIC SALARY: up to £60,000

BENEFITS:
· OTE is £10,000 in year one but open ended
· Company Car or Car Allowance

LOCATION: Covering Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire & Bedfordshire, you will be office based 2 days a week and ideally will live in the centre of the territory.

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Peterborough, Cambridge, Huntingdon, March, Wisbech, Kings Lynn, Stamford, Spalding

A classic territory Sales Manager role covering East Anglia, with a brief to develop new business with both existing & new known clients in the food industry and a very realistic first year target of £1million turnover and order value range of up to £350,000

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager : capital equipment / technical solutions - food industry

· You MUST have a proven track record in selling to Engineering Managers or Project Managers in the food manufacturing and processing industries.
· You WILL be ambitious and able and willing to generate new business
· Any engineering or technical background would be advantageous but is not essential
