Sales Manager

Location: Leicester (on-site)
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 basic + generous commission structure

FRS are hiring a Sales Manager for a growing retail and e-commerce business based in Leicester - offering a salary of £40-50k plus a generous commission structure. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in retail or the hardware / tools sector with a strong track record in driving sales performance, managing teams and identifying growth opportunities. Duties Will Include

• Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans for both retail and e-commerce channels
• Identify new business opportunities and growth markets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
• Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity and customer needs
• Ensure exceptional customer service and support across all touchpoints

Suitable Candidates Will Have / Be

• Proven experience in a sales management role within the retail or hardware / tools sector
• Strong understanding of e-commerce operations and customer behaviour
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in CRM tools and sales reporting systems
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a hands-on approach
