Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced packaging machinery Sales Manager to join this very well established supplier of packaging machinery, mainly to the non food manufacturing markets although the company are looking to target the food industry too.

BASIC SALARY: up to £60,000

BENEFITS:
· Open ended Commission on all sales for £10,000 OTE

LOCATION: Home based covering the North of England (north of Birmingham), Scotland & Ireland and ideally living on the M62 corridor

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham, Stoke, Hull, Lincoln

This is a classic area Sales Manager role selling to existing accounts and developing new business. Selling a range of packaging machinery (average order value circa £60,000) to existing clients in the non food manufacturing industries and targeting new business in the food market. They are also very strong in the eCommerce market.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager - Packaging Machinery, Manufacturing

· You WILL have a proven track record in sales of packaging machinery to either the non food or food markets.
· Ideally you will have an engineering background and qualifications.
· Any specific experience of selling into the eCommerce or food markets would be advantageous.
