What does an Equipment Sales Manager do?

The Equipment Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow market share for catering equipment in the UK&I region. This role expands the company’s presence in new markets and with new customers through strategic product launches and strong customer engagement.


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the catering or foodservice industry, and will be highly motivated, results-driven, and passionate about sales.

Sales Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including key decision-makers.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the sales pipeline.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support long-term customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer-facing activities.


Business Development Responsibilities



  • Contribute to the company’s overall business strategy by identifying growth opportunities, supporting product launches, and closing new business.

  • Provide regular sales reports, market insights, and customer feedback to senior management.

Qualifications


  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the foodservice or catering equipment industry.

  • Strong understanding of the foodservice industry.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships.

  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks.

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Ability to travel as needed.
