Location: Summertown, Oxford
Salary: £50,000 – £80,000 OTE
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:45am – 6:00pm
Friday: 8:45am – 5:30pm
Alternate Saturdays: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Driving Requirement:
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
An established and highly respected estate agency is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead and develop its residential sales operation in Summertown, Oxford.
With a strong presence across Southern England and Mid Wales, the business combines longstanding heritage with a modern, forward-thinking approach to property services. This is a key leadership position suited to a commercially minded individual with a strong background in residential property sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving performance, developing a motivated team, and ensuring exceptional service delivery throughout the sales process.
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the branch sales department
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales negotiators and support staff
Drive new business generation through valuations, instructions, and networking
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, sales targets, and team activity
Conduct regular one-to-one meetings and performance reviews
Deliver outstanding customer service at every stage of the sales journey
Carry out market appraisals and convert valuation opportunities into instructions
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the local property market and competitor activity
Ensure compliance with current property legislation and internal standards
Work collaboratively with other departments to maximise cross-selling opportunities
Proven experience in residential property sales, ideally at management or senior negotiator level
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Target-driven with a strong commercial mindset
In-depth knowledge of the sales process and relevant property legislation
Ability to lead by example and build a high-performance culture
