The Role As a Sales Manager you will be at the forefront of driving sales for the digital marketing solutions, targeting a mix of enterprise companies, bellwethers, and scale-ups.
This position demands a strategic thinker with a knack for understanding complex decision-making units and budget allocations within target companies.
Your mission will be to articulate the value of the Marketing Services to high-level executives such as Global Marketing Directors and CMOs The Company A leading digital media and events company delivering the latest news, analysis and market trends for HR, technology, learning and recruitment leaders.
Key Responsibilities Engage with existing accounts to upsell digital products, focusing on growth and retention.
Target strategic new business prospects to expand the digital marketing solutions clientele.
Achieve and surpass personal revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Independently research and analyse the HR vendor marketplace to identify sales opportunities.
Plan and conduct extensive customer outreach, including face-to-face meetings, sales trips, and industry event participation.
Foster meaningful relationships with potential clients, offering consultative solutions tailored to their marketing objectives.
Design and present innovative digital marketing campaigns to clients and their agencies.
Manage your sales pipeline effectively to maximize revenue and efficiency.
Ensure a smooth transition of new accounts to the customer-success team for ongoing management.
Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop a personalized sales strategy.
Produce a weekly performance report, detailing achievements, challenges, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
Maintain exemplary sales practices and administration, setting a high standard within the team.
Role Requirements Proven experience in B2 B digital media sales.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and thought leadership campaigns.
Exceptional communication skills, with the confidence to engage with senior-level executives.
Strategic mindset, capable of navigating complex decision-making processes within target organisations.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to excellence in sales practices and customer service.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field required.
Masters degree or additional certifications in digital marketing or sales preferred.
While not mandatory, certifications in digital marketing, sales management, or specific sales technologies are advantageous and demonstrate expertise in the field Salary and Benefits £50-55 K Base Salary + OTE Private Medical Insurance.
