Vacancy - Sales Manager
Are you seeking a role in which you can support the continued growth of our Mersey Division? Are you excited by the opportunity to work in a varied, fast paced role across a number of terminals, including Project Cargo, Steel and General Cargo, Bulk Solids, Bulk Liquids, Agribulks and Animal Feed, Biomass, Ro/Ro and Multi-user Warehousing? We are seeking a Sales Manager to join us at the Port of Liverpool and help us keep the world moving!

Your Role
In this role you will continually grow revenue, volumes and build the customer portfolio whilst supporting the broader commercial objectives of Peel Ports Group. Youi will identify, develop and successfully convert opportunities with new customers, working in conjunction with our marketing team to develop new propositions and campaigns. You will negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and SLAs with new customers, ensuring all agreements are correctly contracted and signed.

You will regularly meet with and present to industry stakeholders to identify all opportunities for new business, developing relationships with new customers to deliver growth opportunities. Working with the operational business, you will ensure operational performance KPIs are available and meet customers expectations. You will ensure the CRM is kept up to date at all times, including quotations, meeting notes, lead tracking, customer contacts and marketing mailing lists.

What you'll bring
You will have experience working in a direct, customer facing B2B sales role, with the ability to prioritise opportunities effectively. You will be naturally confident and driven to succeed, with a positive and energetic approach to generating new business. You will be able to multi-task and prioritise workloads effectively in a fast paced environment.

With excellent communication and influencing skills, you will be comfortable presenting to a range of audiences. You will have strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and prioritise them effectively.
