Sales Manager

An opportunity for an accomplished Sales Manager to join an established food supplier who provide fresh, quality products to a variety of sectors within the foodservice industry including, Michelin star restaurants, gastro pubs, 5 star hotels, casinos and sporting venues across Central London.

The client are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to manage and lead the day-to-day sales activity whilst being focused on the long term sales strategy in line with their business objectives.

The Sales Manager is accountable for the targeted sales levels and productivity targets for the depot through the effective leadership of their Account Managers and Business Development Mangers. You will be given autonomy in your role and encouraged to implement new ideas in order to lead your team to success. You will also have a hands on approach and possess the ability to effectively coach your team in order to achieve conversion and sales targets whilst effectively building good relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve their vision of "being every chef’s first choice".

The successful Sales Manager will have:

• Strong leadership skills and an ability to inspire sales teams
• Previous experience successfully managing sales teams ideally from within the foodservice industry
• Ability to deliver professional sales training
• Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth
• Customer driven with a collaborative and hands-on approach
• Strong commercial awareness ensuring customer satisfaction and profit margins are at the forefront of their mind
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of, our marketplace and the food industry
• Team focussed with the ability to achieve success through others

The package on offer is £45 - £50,000 basic salary, bonus, company pension scheme.
