Job Description: Sales Manager – Estate Agency
Location: Hastings, East Sussex
Basic Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE)
On Target Earnings: Circa £60,000
Car Allowance: £3,600 per annum
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday with some Saturdays on rota

About the Role:

A highly regarded estate agency in the Hastings area is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead and grow a successful sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident Senior Negotiator ready to step up or an established Sales Manager looking for a fresh challenge with a reputable brand.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential sales and a good understanding of the Hastings property market, or the wider East Sussex area. You’ll be expected to lead by example, drive new business, manage the end-to-end sales process, and ensure targets are met across your branch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the residential sales department, supporting and mentoring team members
• Conduct property valuations and win new instructions
• Drive business development and branch growth through prospecting and local networking
• Oversee sales progression and client relationship management
• Monitor and report on team KPIs and financial performance
• Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism at all times
• Collaborate with other departments to support cross-selling opportunities

Requirements:

• Previous experience in estate agency sales is essential
• Experience in or strong knowledge of the Hastings area is highly desirable
• Excellent valuation, negotiation and closing skills
• Motivational team leader with a hands-on, proactive attitude
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Remuneration:

• Basic salary of £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)
• On Target Earnings up to £60,000
• Annual car allowance of £3,600
• Additional incentives and progression opportunities
