Sales Order Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Order Process Assistant to join a busy and growing manufacturing business based in Stone.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with office administration, order processing, customer service, or manufacturing administration experience who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced environment.

You will take ownership of customer orders from receipt through to production and delivery, acting as a key link between customers, suppliers, planning, logistics, and production teams. As you develop within the role, there will be opportunities to manage larger accounts and progress into a project management-style position.

Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

* Processing and acknowledging customer purchase orders

* Entering new and repeat orders onto the company system

* Ensuring order information is accurate and complete

* Communicating with customers via email and telephone

* Raising supplier purchase orders

* Liaising with production, planning and logistics teams

* Preparing documentation for production departments

* Managing supplier queries and order updates

* General administration and office support duties

* Answering incoming calls and assisting visitors when required

What We're Looking For

* Previous office administration or order processing experience

* Manufacturing experience would be advantageous

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Excellent communication skills

* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

* Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks

* Strong organisational skills

* Team player with a positive attitude
