Job Description - Sales Orders Coordinator

Sales Orders Coordinator

Basic Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum (depending on relevant experience). Plus annual bonus structure which is predicted to be as much as 20% of your basic salary.

Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch (early finish at 4pm on Friday). 37 hours per week.

Lodge Farm, Northampton. Office based

25 days + 4 extra days per year for "wellbeing" days + plus 8 Bank Holidays (37 days in total).

Match Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of their established manufacturing client located in Northampton. They are looking a professional, personable, self-sufficient and reliable member to join their small Administration team.

Are you an experienced professional with a background in administration coordination and customer support, ideally from a technical environment? We’re seeking someone who can confidently engage with customers, interpret technical information, and communicate effectively. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office is also required. If you are proactive, customer-focused, and ready for your next challenge, we’d be pleased to hear from you.

"The position encompasses Sales order project co-ordination, which includes liaising with customers, ordering of parts, managing engineers’ diaries and ensuring the full installation process runs smoothly.

Reporting to the Country Manager, the successful candidate will work closely within the office team to support the sales team, engineering team and drive the business forward."

What you’ll be doing on a daily basis:

  • Upon receiving sales orders from commercial customers, coordinate the ordering of product systems and manage communication with customers and suppliers from project handover through to installation and invoicing.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and respond promptly via phone and email.
  • Efficiently process sales orders and coordinate installations with the engineering team, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and work with inventory to ensure stock meets demand.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Support Team and actively contribute to team meetings and improvements.
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions and installation activities, and produce regular Sales Orders reports for management.
