Sales Pumps and Sales Water Treatment

Our client is looking to recruit a Technical Salesperson for Pumps and also a Technical Salesperson for Water Treatment within Scotland, based out of Glasgow. The main applications of the product range and solutions are sold to the Oil &Gas, Petrochem, Process, Water, Food & Bev, Distilleries and Utilities all as End-Users as well as to general industry and to the specialist contractors.

The Role

These are senior technical sales role with time spent advising engineering biased people about product application but also being commercially aware enough to deal with the purchasing and buying departments. It is essential to be able to build up, through credibility, strong business relationships with key personnel. As there are multiple levels of decision maker, applicants must be able to communicate at all levels. Although our client has existing clients in the area, the key to this role is the future ability to find success in developing and finding new customers.

The Person

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong sales exposure within our client’s key markets, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Process, Water and Petrochem industries. Applicant’s who have experience of Pumps, Process Filtration, Filtration Systems, Process Pumps, Valves, Instrumentation, Process Control Valves, or Water Treatment systems will have both the correct market awareness and correct level of contacts. Although at technical qualification is not required applicants must be able to communicate with other engineers. A steady career history will aid to the credibility of the successful applicant’s application.

You will receive a fantastic package based on a £40-55K basic salary and achievable Bonus scheme, Company Car Allowance/Car, Pension, Life Insurance and holidays.
