Sales Solution Engineer

As a SysAid Solution Engineer (SE), you will be pivotal in optimizing technical sales processes and closing business. Your core responsibilities encompass ownership of technical pre-sales and cross-team collaboration in support of the sales team to close new business.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Presentations: Conduct detailed technical presentations and demonstrations of SysAid to potential customers.
• Technical Consultations: Provide technical consultation to prospects, helping them understand how SysAid can be integrated into their IT infrastructure and address their challenges.
• Demo/Trial Site Ownership: Ownership of demo & proof-of-concept trial sites, including strategy, design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance with product and engineering support.
• Proof of Concept Management: Manage and execute proof-of-concept (POC) projects, demonstrating SysAid’s capabilities and value.
• Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to close business, including responding to technical questions and objections and preparing detailed responses for proposals as required.
• Product/Engineering Liaison: Be the arbiter and single source of technical truth for the sales teams and liaise with the product management team, conveying feedback on product features, market needs, and competitive insights.

Secondary Support:

• Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to position SysAid’s solutions effectively.
• Training and Enablement: Assist as required in developing and delivering technical training sessions for sales teams, partners, and prospects.
• Industry Events & Webinars: Represent SysAid at industry events, conferences, and webinars, showcasing the technology and engaging with potential customers.

• 3+ years in SaaS/B2B pre-sales, solution engineering, and/or technical consulting
• Exceptional communicator. Not just technical, but sociable. Comfortable leading discovery and demos with audiences from technicians to CIOs.
• Strong analytical skills and a team player who works well with sales, product, and support
• Driven and solution-oriented, with high self-motivation and resilience
• Experience integrating enterprise software in various IT environments, including cloud-based platforms
• Understanding of or experience with REST APIs (Postman, iPaaS/AI tools, or similar) to build quick integrations and demo automations
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Nice to have:

• Experience in AI sales or building AI automations with tools like Claude
• Background in ITSM or customer service platforms
