Job Description - Sales Supervisor

Responsibilities: As a Sales Supervisor, you will:

  • Coordinate and accurately action all quotes and orders.
  • Ensure prompt responses to the Sales inbox and phone calls.
  • Oversee daily completion of quotation updates.
  • Drive sales growth through strategic initiatives.
  • Provide clarity and training on processes, including returns.
  • Lead and evaluate the performance of the sales team.
  • Foster a customer-centric atmosphere within the department.
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and employee retention efforts.
  • Engage with customers and represent the company at trade shows.
  • Present weekly sales statistics and identify growth opportunities.
  • Compile annual sales reports highlighting variances and prospects.
  • Respond to queries from senior management regarding sales and stock.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Strong background in sales within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and a keen interest in engineering.
  • Ability to distil information and take decisive action.

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Familiarity with sales reporting and forecasting tools.
  • Previous involvement in training or mentoring team members.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM software and sales management tools
