Sales Support

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Support professional to join an established manufacturing business in West Cumbria.

This is a varied role supporting an established sales team, with responsibility for keeping customer orders moving, dealing with day-to-day enquiries and providing general sales administration support.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, confident and switched-on, with the ability to manage a varied workload and communicate confidently with customers and colleagues.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

* Handling customer enquiries regarding order progress

* Preparing straightforward quotes

* Processing customer reorders

* Providing general sales administration support

* Dealing with straightforward customer enquiries by phone and email

* Supporting the wider sales team with day-to-day requirements

* Ensuring customer requests and orders are followed through accurately and efficiently

About you

We’re open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, but experience within manufacturing, engineering or a technical environment would be particularly beneficial.

You might currently be working in a role such as:

* Sales Support

* Sales Administrator

* Sales Coordinator

* Customer Service / Customer Support

* Internal Sales

* Technical Sales Support

* Order Processing / Sales Administration

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who is confident, commercially aware, proactive and comfortable picking things up quickly.

You’ll need to be able to speak confidently with customers, manage multiple requests at once and take ownership of tasks rather than waiting to be told what to do.
