Job Description - Sales Support Administrator

Adele Carr is working with a market-leading manufacturer, based in Wythenshawe, that has been around for over 100 years. My client offers an excellent work-life balance with flexible working hours, 33 days of annual leave, an annual bonus & an excellent starting salary.

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity with a market-leading business? We are seeking a full-time and permanent Sales Support Administrator to join our client's team and provide administrative support to the sales function.

This is a varied and fast-paced role that will allow you to take ownership and see orders from the initial order stage through to delivery to the customer. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth and efficient operations, providing them with the necessary administrative support.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Starting salary of £30,000-£32,000 per annum
  • Annual bonus of circa. £1,000-£2,000
  • 25 days of annual leave + Bank Holidays
  • Monday-Friday full time 37.5 hours per week
  • Flexi-time - Core hours of 9:30AM-3PM, outside of that is completely flexible.
  • Ad-hoc work from home when required available - Once or twice a month
  • Free Parking
  • Enhanced Pension


What will be expected of you:

The successful Sales Support Administrator will assist the sales function from the order stage through to delivery and provide the field sales team with administration support.

  • Supporting the sales team during the offer stage - Creating and amending quotations
  • Coordination with the factory on technical information
  • Liaise with customers providing the best quality service
  • Provide product information and deal with queries
  • Process sales orders
  • Liaise with technical, field sales and production teams
  • Coordinate delivery to the customer
  • Keep customers up to date with build-date & manufacturing lead times.
  • Invoice customer


What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years in a similar role
  • Technical or Manufacturing experience would be an advantage
  • Customer service and rapport-building skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Detail-oriented with high attention
  • Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to work on your own initiative
  • Proactive personality
