Job Description - Sales Support Executive - London

Sales Support Executive

Client:
A family-owned business that has built an enviable reputation worldwide over the past 27 years, bringing understated luxury to the world’s most refined interiors. We successfully sell and distribute throughout the UK and
export to more than 60 countries worldwide. To optimise our customer’s experience and support our sales growth,
we are currently seeking a Sales Support Executive to be based at our Islington
offices.

The Role:
As part of our exciting growth plans, we are now looking for a confident, calm, and
organised individual to join our friendly team.
Being presentable and professional, you will provide support to our UK & Global Sales
teams. Specifically, you will be manging customer service issues and supporting our sales
team with the processing and dispatching of orders. To achieve this, you will be
communicating with our B2B clients, our Agents and our Distributors on a daily basis.
Additionally, you will provide cover for the sales areas when your colleagues are
traveling on business or meeting with clients, and when they are on annual leave;
ensuring that our daily business continues to function effectively.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Be the first receiver for any after-sales questions and own the resolution.
  • Liaise with our logistics department and production team to update our
  • customers on live orders.
  • Support our sales team with day-to-day order processing requesting balance
  • payments, and dispatching orders.
  • Use and update our CRM and MRP systems making sure that all data is kept up
  • do date.
  • Take a hands-on approach to all aspects of the role and always seek to provide
  • a high level of Customer service handling phone calls and email enquiries.
  • Provide general sales department administration duties.

Key Skills and Experience

  • The role requires an enthusiastic, organized person with a passion for getting the job done.
  • You will relish the chance to operate in a successful design led, luxury company.
  • Be a clear communicator, with a high level of numeracy and literacy in English.
  • A second language is advantageous i.e German, Mandarin, French or Urdu
  • A professional proficiency in a 2nd language would be advantageous, as would a passion for Interior Design and a knowledge of lighting.
  • You should be confident in nature, approaching all tasks and duties with enthusiasm and be able to demonstrate a proven ability to work with a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • We value organisational skills and the ability to manage situations to successful conclusions, whilst managing your own workload.
  • We expect excellent timekeeping and ability to meet deadlines.
  • We would prefer you to have an understanding of a CRM system, and full training will be given. Our CRM platform is Prospects, a working knowledge of this platform would be a distinct advantage.
  • You will need excellent computer and administration skills, including Microsoft Office suite of applications.
