Sales Support Team Leader

Reed Business Support are proud to be assisting our Chatham-based client in the search for a Sales Support Team Leader to join their dynamic and growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated sales admin team, drive process improvements, and play a vital role in ensuring smooth order processing and exceptional customer service.

• Oversee and support the sales admin team in processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Raise purchase orders with suppliers and manage the order book to ensure timely delivery
• Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email, keeping them informed throughout their buying journey
• Collaborate with internal departments including sales, logistics, and stores to meet KPIs and SLAs
• Lead by example, guiding and developing team members daily
• Work closely with the Internal Sales Office Manager to enhance ERP system usage and streamline processes

• Experience in a fast-paced customer service, order processing, or logistics environment
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and support a team
• High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
• Excellent communication skills across all levels, both written and verbal
• Creative thinker with a passion for continuous improvement
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (experience with customs paperwork and couriers is a bonus)
• You would need to have access to your own vehicle due to location!

• Competitive salary up to £32,000 per year
