Sales Team Leader

ST TALENT are recruiting for a Sales Team Leader to join a growing business based in Normanton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional with leadership experience to join a successful and ambitious organisation. Leading a team of 7 Sales Executives, you'll play a key role in driving performance, developing your team and delivering commercial growth.

This is a genuinely hands-on leadership role. You'll lead from the front, support the team in securing new business and growing existing accounts, while maintaining your own sales activity and customer relationships.

The Role

As Sales Team Leader, you'll be responsible for:

* Leading, motivating and developing a team of 7 Sales Executives

* Driving new business generation through outbound sales activity

* Coaching team members to maximise sales opportunities and conversion rates

* Supporting the team with customer quotations and account development

* Identifying opportunities to increase customer spend and product penetration

* Growing existing customer accounts through retention, upselling and cross-selling

* Monitoring individual and team performance against sales and margin targets

* Setting weekly and monthly objectives and ensuring they are achieved

* Supporting marketing campaigns and promotional activity

* Maintaining accurate CRM and customer records

* Delivering excellent customer service while achieving your own sales objectives

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience in a sales, telesales, business development or account management role

* Experience leading, supervising, mentoring or coaching a sales team

* A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

* Confidence in developing new business and managing customer relationships

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Commercial awareness and an understanding of margin and profitability

* Excellent organisational and time management skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel

* A resilient, positive and proactive approach

What's on Offer?

* £28,000 basic salary

* £7,000 OTE

* Full-time, permanent position

* Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 5:30pm & Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm

* Office-based role in Normanton
