Sample Maker

We are looking for an individual to develop moulds and manufacture samples to send to customers/potential customers and obtain approval.

The responsibilities will be:

- Prepare moulds for sampling (venting, polishing)

- Manufacture samples to drawing specifications

- Obtain sample approval from designer

- Store patterns and plugs in appropriate location

- Prepare samples for shipment ensuring they are appropriately packaged

- Log and maintain retained samples for internal use

- Ensure work area in sample room and pattern prep area is kept tidy

Skills and person specifications

- Good numeracy and literacy skills

- Ability to follow instruction

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Technical/mechanical experience would be an advantage

- Positive attitude

- Punctual

- Reliable

The role will be for 37.5 hours per week working 8.30am-4.30pm

The position will be on a temp to perm basis and CV’s will be required and interviews held.
