Position Type: Full-time, 5 days over 7
Shift Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Job and Finish)
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Role Overview:

As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a crucial role in our sandwich department, ensuring that all sandwiches and paninis are prepared, packaged, and dispatched to our 110 stores daily. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Preparation of Sandwiches and Paninis: Assemble a variety of sandwiches and paninis following company recipes and standards to ensure consistent quality and presentation.

• 
  Sandwich Mix Preparation: Prepare fresh sandwich fillings, such as chicken mayo and tuna mayo, to support daily production needs.

• 
  Packaging and Dispatch: Carefully package and label all items, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for dispatch to all 110 shops.

• 
  Quality Control: Maintain high standards of hygiene and ensure all products meet Wenzel’s quality requirements.

• 
  Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily production targets.

• 
  Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• 
  Experience: Previous experience in food preparation or sandwich making is preferred but not essential.

• 
  Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, and excellent time management skills.

• 
  Physical Fitness: The role may involve standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.

• 
  Flexibility: Willingness to work 5 days over 7, including weekends if required.

• 
  Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with others.
