Role: SAP Basis Consultant
📍 Location: Manchester, UK (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)
📅 Contract Duration: 6 months
💷 Type: Contract- INSIDE IR 35
🌐 Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days WFO)

Core Skills Required:

SAP Basis (10+ years)

SAP on Cloud (preferably Azure)

SAP S/4 HANA, SAP HANA DB

OS Experience: Windows and Linux (desired)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead SAP Basis operations, both for implementation and support projects.

Interface directly with client stakeholders; drive technical solutions and delivery planning.

Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities (OS patching, kernel upgrades, plug-ins).

Handle change management processes for all planned/unplanned activities.

Perform regular EWA, vulnerability, and audit analysis and implement security notes.

Drive performance tuning and proactive system health checks.

Manage incident handling including P0/P1 issues and SNOW service requests.

Work across a wide range of SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, BOBJ, PO, Fiori, SLT, BTP, etc.).

Manage transports and integrations with external apps.

Define BAU processes, reporting and ensure quality through spot checks and cadence calls.

Ideal Candidate:

10+ years of hands-on SAP Basis experience.

Strong experience with SAP on Azure Cloud.

Exposure to a broad SAP ecosystem (including SAP SaaS, Web Dispatcher, Cloud Connector).

Skilled in both technical leadership and client engagement.

Experienced in change, incident, audit, and performance management.
