SAP B1 Business Analyst / Systems Manager

Location: Lancashire (hybrid working)
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
Type: Permanent, Full-Time

The Opportunity:

Henley Morgan are working with a dynamic and growing manufacturing business, that is seeking an experienced SAP Business One (SAP B1) Business Analyst / SAP B1 Systems Manager to take ownership of their ERP ecosystem and drive continuous improvement and value across the organisation.

This is not a "keep the lights on" role —this business is ready for change and wants someone who is proactive, commercially aware, and capable of making SAP B1 work harder and smarter for every department.

You’ll join a small but crucial IT team, reporting directly to a highly experienced Head of IT. The role blends functional business analysis with technical input, making it ideal for a hybrid thinker who can bridge business needs with technical possibilities.

The Role:

• Act as the Product Owner for SAP B1 and connected systems.
• Collaborate with teams across finance, operations, procurement, and beyond to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Support and enhance SAP B1 integrations and automate processes using BPA.
• Provide functional and technical support, including light scripting (SQL, SDK, C# exposure helpful but not essential).
• Take ownership of current and future integration.
• Work closely with external partners and internal stakeholders to improve how the business uses SAP B1.
• Lead initiatives that improve business processes and data quality across departments.

Experience:

Must-Have:

• Proven experience with SAP Business One in an end-user or consultancy environment.
• Strong business analysis skills — able to translate business needs into system improvements.
• Experience with BPA (Business Process Automation).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A proactive, curious mindset — someone who asks "why" and isn’t afraid to suggest new approaches.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with WMS.
• Basic technical understanding (SQL, SDK, C# exposure).
• Prior experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
