SAP Delivery Manager

Your role

Are you an experienced SAP delivery leader who thrives on shaping complex transformation programmes and turning strategy into successful business outcomes? This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering SAP rollout programmes across a global industrial environment, helping drive standardisation, scalability and long-term value across Vacuum Technique Business Area (VTBA) entities. 

As SAP Delivery Manager, you will own the successful delivery of SAP implementations and rollouts across VTBA entities, ensuring programmes are delivered to a high standard, on time, within budget and in line with business objectives. You will help bring the VTBA ERP roadmap to life by driving the adoption of the SAP template, promoting standardisation and enabling consistent, scalable delivery across the organisation.

What will I be doing?

• Leading end-to-end delivery of SAP implementations and rollouts across multiple VTBA entities, including Customer Centres, Product Companies, Distribution Centres and Service Technology Centres. 


• Developing and manage integrated delivery plans covering scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks and dependencies. 


• Ensuring strong programme governance, clear decision-making and effective escalation across business, IT and external partner teams. 


• Working closely with senior business stakeholders, VTIS teams, and system integrator partners to ensure delivery with quality, cost control, and business alignment. 


• Driving standardisation through adoption of the SAP template, reducing unnecessary localisation and supporting common ways of working. 


• Leading stakeholder engagement and business change activity to support user adoption and embed new SAP processes effectively. 


• Managing partner performance and ensure external delivery partners provide value, meet commitments and support successful outcomes. 


• Tracking benefits realisation and continuous improvement after go-live, ensuring SAP rollouts deliver measurable business value.

To succeed, you will need

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Extensive experience in IT delivery and programme or project management, ideally including large-scale SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA implementations across multi-location, global environments. 


• A strong track record of successfully leading complex ERP delivery programmes in partnership with business, IT and external delivery teams. 


• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence in engaging senior business and IT leaders. 


• Experience managing vendors or system integrators, including delivery performance, commercial oversight and contract adherence. 


• Strong governance, planning, risk management and cost control capability, with the ability to keep complex programmes on track. 


• A practical understanding of business change, adoption and the importance of embedding new processes into day-to-day ways of working. 


• Clear communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technology topics into meaningful business context. 


• Experience in an industrial manufacturing or engineering environment would be an advantage. 


• Willingness to travel as required in a global delivery environment.

Job Location:

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our sites in UK, Czechnia or Belgium
