Contract: 10 months (initial)
Location: Leeds, Hybrid - one day a week on site

Overview

A major utilities organisation is seeking a strong SAP Data and Analytics Project Manager to deliver Phase 2 of its SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) implementation. The project will establish the foundations for future SAP reporting, working across SAP BDC, Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

This is a delivery leadership role, not a hands-on technical position. You’ll bring excellent project and vendor management skills, alongside enough SAP data and analytics knowledge to coordinate teams, ask informed questions and challenge delivery when needed.

Responsibilities

Drive Phase 2 delivery, managing plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
Coordinate internal teams and external vendors across SAP BDC, Datasphere and SAC.
Manage stakeholders, decisions and clear progress reporting.
Work with internal teams and external test partners to oversee testing and challenge outcomes where needed.
Lead release and cutover planning and execution.
Essential Experience

Strong project management experience delivering IT projects, ideally within SAP.
Proven vendor and stakeholder management.
Understanding of SAP data and analytics delivery, particularly Datasphere and SAC.
Experience managing testing, release and cutover activities.
Excellent communication skills; proactive, self-sufficient and calm under pressure.
Desirable

SAP Business Data Cloud experience.
Utilities-sector experience
