SAP S/4HANA experience required

Our client, a leading organisation in the defence sector, is on the lookout for a dedicated S/4Hana Procurement & Supply Chain Officer to join their dynamic team in Stevenage. This permanent role is crucial in supporting the roll out of S/4HANA as part of a wide-ranging change programme aimed at replacing bespoke systems with a unified solution.

• Deliver a common set of S/4HANA Procurement & Supply Chain capabilities while respecting local legal and regulatory requirements
• Support the UK Procurement & Supply Chain input to design and implement harmonised processes in S/4HANA
• Act as the point of contact with the overall Systems Integrator
• Represent the needs of UK Procurement & Supply Chain within the project team
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and maximise benefits of S/4HANA
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure high levels of knowledge and understanding
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders both inside and outside the business
• Support teams in learning and maximising the new system

• Experience in a Procurement & Supply Chain role
• Working experience with SAP ECC6 & SAP 4 is essential
• Ability to present and articulate points of view and improvements
• Experience in a complex matrix multi-national organisation
• Fluency in French and/or Italian would be an advantage
• Excellent communication, influence, persuasion, and project management skills
• Comfortable making decisions for change with limited information
• Proven track record in delivering value-added transformations in a Procurement setting
