Job Description - SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Functional S/4HANA SME / Architect, lead and execute S/4HANA implementation, rollouts & upgrades

• Ability to review existing global template, identify bottlenecks, provide workaround solution and mitigate the issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement S/4HANA solutions that meet specific business needs.

• Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and knowledge base for S/4HANA.

• Monitor and optimize S/4HANA adoption in the organization, define and execute change management strategies

• Stay current with the latest S/4HANA releases, features, and best practices.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other SAP team members.

• Participate in project planning, risk management, and issue resolution.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 20+ years of experience in SAP ECC & S/4HANA, with a strong Manufacturing & Supply Chain domain experience

• Extensive experience with S/4HANA upgrades, implementations, and rollouts.

• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, modules, and functionalities.

• Proven experience leading and managing S/4HANA projects.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with SAP best practices and methodologies.

• Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of IT for IT processes and requirements.

• Strong functional skills in at least 2-3 SAP modules - Primary: FICO, SD. Secondary: MM & PPQM, MII.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience with SAP SaaS cloud solutions i.e. SAP IBP, Concur or VIM.

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and other modern UI technologies.

• Knowledge of SAP data migration tools and techniques.

• Knowledge of SAP BTP (Build Apps, CPI or Joule)

• Experience with SAP Security, GRC and access control.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP S/4HANA certification) is highly desirable.
