SAP Test Manager

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)Contract Type: 6-12 Month ContractRate: £500 - £650 p/d (negotiable)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Test Manager to lead and manage testing activities for a large-scale SAP implementation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex testing projects, defining test strategies, and ensuring quality assurance across multiple platforms and tools.
Key Responsibilities:

• Test Management:
  Lead and manage testing activities for SAP S4/HANA implementations, data migrations, and other enterprise-level projects.
• Vendor Management:
  Coordinate and manage third-party vendors for system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Quality Assurance:
  Ensure the quality of test deliverables and performance testing conducted by third-party vendors.
• Defect Management:
  Oversee defect management and triage processes using tools such as Jira and SolMan.
• Test Strategy:
  Define and implement test strategies for agile development processes and risk-based testing.
• UAT Support:
  Support business users during UAT and manage offshore test teams.
• Documentation:
  Produce test exit documentation and manage test execution processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience:
  Minimum of 5 years in test management roles, with experience in SAP S4/HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle, and other enterprise systems.
• Tools:
  Proficiency in test tools such as Jira, SolMan, LoadRunner, Microfocus ALM, Tricentis Tosca, and Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Project Management:
  Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
• Communication:
  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Remote Work:
  Experience working in remote environments and managing distributed teams.
