The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting enterprise backup solutions, with a focus on Veritas NetBackup, while contributing to migration and transformation projects. The role will involve both BAU support and project delivery, including occasional out-of-hours work where required. Key Responsibilities Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for enterprise backup environments. Support backup solutions across Live, Development and Test platforms. Deliver change, project, migration and transformation activities. Troubleshoot and resolve complex backup and recovery incidents. Work within established incident and change management processes. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure service availability and successful project delivery. Essential Skills & Experience At least 5-10 years' experience supporting (2nd to 3rd Line) backups of servers and virtual payloads. Good knowledge of backup and restore technologies. Experience using and supporting Veritas NetBackup software and storage appliances. Experience supporting backups within VMware environments. General knowledge of supporting backups across various server operating systems, including: Windows Linux (RHEL & SLES) AIX Solaris Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills. Proven problem-solving ability. Proactive approach to personal workload management. Awareness of the ITIL Service Management framework, specifically Incident and Change Management.
