SC Cleared Delivery Manager - 2 Days a week in London or Newcastle

The Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex digital products and services within DWP, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard. Working within Agile, multidisciplinary teams, you will manage delivery plans, risks, dependencies, budgets, and stakeholder relationships across large-scale government programmes.
Key responsibilities include facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing delivery blockers, managing stakeholders, tracking progress against objectives, and driving continuous improvement across teams. You will work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Technical Architects, Developers, and User-Centred Design teams to ensure successful service delivery in line with GDS standards.
Key Skills:

Strong Delivery Management experience within Agile environments
Experience delivering complex digital transformation programmes
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Risk, issue, dependency, and resource management
Knowledge of GDS standards and government delivery practices
Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar tools
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive delivery outcomesDesirable:

Previous DWP or wider UK Government experience
Certified Scrum Master, AgilePM, PRINCE2 or equivalent qualifications
Experience delivering citizen-facing digital services and platforms
