Scaffolding Business Manager – Overview

We are working with a group of renewable energy companies who have recently launched a new scaffolding business to support their own Solar projects, as well as expanding to domestic and commercial scaffolding projects. They are looking for a Scaffolding Business Manager who can eventually progress to Head of Business/Director in the next few years as the business grows.

This is an opportunity to take the reins on growing a business and its operations whilst growing your career along with it. The companies primary work is installing Solar PV, Battery Storage and Heat Pumps throughout mainland UK. They currently install circa 200 installs per month and have national contracts with two of the UK’s largest energy companies as well as their own private customers.

This is a senior leadership position responsible for both the day-to-day management and the strategic growth of the scaffolding business. You will oversee all scaffolding operations supporting their solar installation programme while developing and scaling their internal scaffolding capabilities, contractor network, vehicles, teams, and operational processes. You will be responsible for operations, quality and compliance, business growth and development and growing a national network of sub contractors to support the business.

The growth of the business will be directly linked to your salary and your role. The more the business grows, the more you will receive big increases in pay and bonuses and the quicker your position in the company will progress.

This role will be office based in Manchester.

Scaffolding Business Manager – Requirements

* Significant experience within the scaffolding industry.

* Previous experience managing scaffolding operations, teams, or businesses.

* Strong understanding of scaffolding compliance, safety standards, and industry regulations.

* Experience managing schedules, logistics, and workforce planning.

* Excellent organisational and communication skills.

* Experience growing a scaffolding business or regional operation.

Scaffolding Business Manager – Salary & Remuneration
