My Global IT consultancy is looking for a mid level Scala Developer to join their inhouse development team on a perm basis.

Essential Skills

4+ years experience in the IT Industry as a Scala developer
Full-stack or backend technical background with experience with Scala, Java, .Net or C #.
System development - both front-end, back-end and integrations
Experience across the full software development lifecycle
Ability to code within projects
Workflow planning
Process optimization and quality assurance
Implementing customer requirements for the design of new features
Analysis and design of the overall solution
Previous involvement in developing and delivering major IT solutions
Ideally, some experience mentoring and maybe team leading on projects
An understanding of agile tools and techniques
Excellent communication skills and professional attitudeA Software Engineering / Computer Science Degree or Masters is Essential

The role may require some UK travel to client sites and we offer hybrid working based out of Newcastle
