Your New Role

As a Scheme Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a Retirement Living scheme in Milton Keynes. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll play a key part in supporting residents to maintain their independence whilst ensuring the scheme remains safe, compliant and well managed.
Key responsibilities will include:

Managing the day-to-day operation of the scheme.
Supporting residents with tenancy sustainment and wellbeing.
Carrying out resident welfare checks and providing signposting to support services.
Managing low-level ASB cases, complaints and safeguarding concerns.
Monitoring rent accounts and supporting arrears' prevention.
Coordinating repairs, maintenance and contractor performance.
Ensuring all health & safety and compliance checks are completed.
Managing void properties and supporting the lettings process.
Organising resident engagement activities to reduce social isolation.
Building positive relationships with residents, families and partner agencies.What You'll Need to Succeed
Essential:

Strong customer service and communication skills.
Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
Strong relationship-building and problem-solving abilities. Desirable:

Experience in social housing, sheltered housing, retirement living or supported housing.
Knowledge of housing management and tenancy sustainment.
Experience supporting older or vulnerable residents.
Understanding of safeguarding, dementia, mental health and wellbeing.
CIH Level 3 or 4 qualification.
Experience managing contractors or staff. What You'll Get in Return
