A well-respected secondary school in Bristol is seeking a committed and efficient School Business Manager to oversee finance, HR, site operations and administration from January 2026. Working alongside the SLT, the School Business Manager will support strategic planning and ensure compliance across operational areas. A full induction and handover will take place before January 2026.

The School Business Manager will manage the school budget, monitor expenditure, coordinate HR and payroll processes, and oversee health & safety and premises. We are looking for a professional with strong finance expertise, excellent communication and the ability to lead support staff effectively.

Experience & qualifications

– Strong track record in business or operations management

– Confidence in budget management and financial reporting

– Available January 2026 and able to travel to Bristol
