School Caretaker

Reeson Education is recruiting for a School Caretaker to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Enfield. This is a full-time, year-round role starting in August 2025 and is perfect for someone dependable, practical, and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning school environment.

Whether you're an experienced School Caretaker or someone with strong maintenance skills looking to transition into the education sector, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a stable, rewarding setting.

• Ensure the security and daily opening/closing of the school site

• Complete routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs (basic plumbing, painting, carpentry)

• Conduct regular health & safety checks, including fire alarm testing, water hygiene, and risk assessments

• Oversee cleaners and liaise with external contractors when needed

• Support lettings and occasional evening/weekend access

• Manage site supplies and assist with stock ordering and basic record keeping

• Has previous experience as a caretaker or site assistant, preferably in a school

• Is confident handling basic maintenance and DIY tasks

• Has a good understanding of health and safety protocols

• Is reliable, well-organised, and can work independently

• Communicates clearly and takes pride in maintaining school standards

• Daily Pay: £95.22 - £125, depending on experience

• Full-time, permanent hours - all-year-round
