This school is seeking a dedicated School Caretaker to oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and security of the school premises. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the school building and grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks across the premises.
• Monitor the condition of facilities, addressing any maintenance issues promptly.
• Manage security duties, including locking/unlocking the premises and responding to alarms.
• Organise and supervise external contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Prepare rooms and spaces for school events, activities, and meetings.
• Promote health and safety standards in line with school policies and regulations.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Practical skills and experience in general maintenance, repair, and facilities management.
• Excellent understanding of health, safety, and security practices.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a similar role or educational setting is desirable.
