This school is looking for a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to take charge of the maintenance, security, and day-to-day upkeep of the school premises. This vital role ensures a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the general maintenance and cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds.
• Conduct routine repairs, ensuring facilities are in excellent condition.
• Manage security, including locking and unlocking the premises, monitoring CCTV, and responding to emergencies.
• Carry out minor repairs, liaising with contractors for larger maintenance projects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, reporting ay issues promptly.
• Assist with setting up rooms for events, exams, and school activities.
• Support waste management, recycling, and general site upkeep.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or facilities role within an education setting.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
