School Caretaker / Handyperson

Location: Rochdale
Job type: Temporary sick cover, initially for two weeks
Start date: Immediate
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Pay rate: £12.71 to £14.50 per hour, depending on experience

We are looking for a reliable School Caretaker / Handyperson to provide temporary cover at a static school site in Rochdale.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day maintenance and smooth running of the site. This position is initially for two weeks, although the duration may vary depending on the requirement for sick cover.

Key responsibilities

Completing basic maintenance
Carrying out general caretaking duties
Liaising with contractors working on site
Helping to ensure the school remains safeand secure

Requirements

An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is essential
A reliable, practical and proactive approach
