Job Title: School Chef (Must Be Able to Drive)

Location: Poole

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Hours: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (30 hours per week)

Working Weeks: 39 weeks per year (Term time plus inset days)

Hourly Rate: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour

What Will You Be Doing?

As the School Chef, you will play a key role in providing nutritious and delicious meals for students. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the on-site Chef Manager with meal preparation and cooking.
• Packing meals into the delivery van, driving the van to the school site, and serving meals.
• Preparing meals for 200+ students using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
• Providing counter service and handling till work as needed.
• Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

What We're Looking For:

• A skilled Chef with a passion for preparing fresh and tasty meals.
• Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle for daily travel between schools.
• Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ideally within schools or catering.
• A positive, team-oriented individual committed to excellent service.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
