Role OverviewThis school is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Design and Technology Technician to support its teachers and students in creating a safe, organised, and inspiring environment for practical learning. If you have a passion for technology and design, this role could be the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for lessons and projects.
• Offer technical support to students and teachers during practical lessons.
• Maintain workshop equipment and ensure all resources are in good condition.
• Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Organise and manage inventory within the department.
• Assist with designing and developing teaching resources.

Skills and Experience:

• A genuine interest in design and technology.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence in working with tools, machinery, and materials.
• Understanding of health and safety protocols in workshops or similar environments.
• Previous experience in an educational and technical setting.
