This school is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join the administrative team. This role is essential in supporting the financial operations of the school, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and assisting with budgeting and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in processing invoices, payments, and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with school policies.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and budget monitoring.
• Handle queries related to school finances from staff, suppliers, and external agencies.
• Process payroll, expenses, and reconcile accounts as required.
• Work closely with the Finance Manager and administrative team to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of financial data.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in finance and administration, ideally within a school setting.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in finance software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach to handling sensitive information.
