to join a Multi Academy Trust based in Birmingham. As the IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the technology infrastructure across both school sites.

Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the MAT’s goals
Infrastructure Manageme nt: Oversee the maintenance, security, and optimisation of hardware, software, and network systems
User Support:

Provide technical support to staff, teachers, and students, ensuring efficient use of technology
Budgeting and Procureme nt: Manage IT budgets, evaluate vendor proposals, and make informed purchasing decisions
Data Management:

Lead data protection efforts, including backups, disaster recovery, and compliance
Training and Development:

Organise training sessions for staff to enhance their digital literacy skills
Project Management:

Coordinate IT projects, such as system upgrades, installations, and migrations

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role in an educational setting
Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with educational software and learning management systems.
