Site Assistant

Initial Contract: 5 weeks, commencing 6th November
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

We are looking for a reliable and practical Site Assistant to join our school team for an initial five-week period.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the school site, helping to ensure the premises are clean, safe, well-maintained and ready for pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general hands-on maintenance and basic site duties.

Assist with setting up the main hall for lunches, assemblies and other school activities.

Porter and distribute food as required.

Replenish toilet rolls and other essential supplies.

Help with the general upkeep and presentation of the school premises.

Respond positively to ad-hoc tasks and requests from school staff.

Work safely and responsibly at all times.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.

Practical and willing to be hands-on.

Able to work independently and use their own initiative.

Flexible and happy to undertake a variety of tasks.

Friendly, approachable and able to work well as part of a team.

Previous school experience is desirable but not essential.

This is a varied and practical role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys supporting a busy school environment.
