School Social Worker (2024-2025 School Year)

• Develop, write, and implement IEP goals for counseling services to students, majority of the caseload will have non-verbal students
• Implement individualized plans to address identified needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create a supportive school environment
• Act as liaison between the school, families, and community to ensure students receive necessary services
• Provide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for students, parents, and staff on topics related to social skills and child development
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress

• Previous school-based and/or pediatric social work experience is preferred
• Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in Social Work 
• Pennsylvania Department of Health Social Work License
• PA Certification as a School Social Worker
