Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 teaching as experience grows.

• Actively engage with the bespoke ECT induction program, including regular check-ins, departmental mentor meetings, and scheduled observation cycles.


• Contribute to curriculum development and the preparation of dynamic, practical schemes of work.


• Maintain a secure and inspiring learning environment, upholding the school’s high standards for behaviour and academic rigour.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).

• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
